The Thunder Bay Business Women's Network is a dynamic networking group!
New members are always welcome.
Each year, the Network offers its members and the community of Thunder Bay an exciting schedule of events. Meetings are held September through June on a Thursday, either mid-day or evening. Meetings may include a meal, a speaker or other special activities as well as time for networking. Check out our Calendar for upcoming meeting dates!
We invite a wide range of individuals to be keynote speakers at our meetings; many live and work in our community because the Network is firmly committed to honouring local expertise. From time to time, we are able to schedule a speaker with a provincial or national profile who can offer a unique perspective on topics of interest to our members. A fee is charged for each meeeting to cover expenses (including facility rental, meals and speaker costs).
Our Registration Policy
Your registration must be received by email or by phoning a board member
at least 48 hours PRIOR to the event.
Registrations received after this time WILL NOT be guaranteed a meal.
FULL event price will still apply.
Payment must be made at the door
(cash, cheque (payable to "Business Women's Network), MasterCard, VISA).

Receipts will be issued upon payment, but we regret that we cannot
issue invoices for meetings.
You will be responsible for meeting costs if you fail to cancel in time.
Cancellations must be made before 5:00 pm THE DAY PRIOR to meetings.
Cancellations after this time will be charged the FULL event price.

Everyone is welcome! It is not necessary to be a member in order to attend Network meetings.
Please pass this invitation on to any woman you feel would be interested. Feel free to invite a friend. Be sure they RSVP! We'd love to receive information - names, business name, phone, email - etc. to add to our contact list. Our contact list is used for Network business only and is not shared with other organizations!
Door prize contributions welcome - please bring it to the meeting: we'll promote your business with the draw.
Name tags are encouraged.
Members will be supplied with a name tag.
Bring your business cards - for draw prizes and for networking.
A networking info table is provided at the side of the room for members to display brochures, cards and other business information - members may leave their items on the networking table - they will be brought to each meeting for you.
Please complete an evaluation form at meetings and place on the tables as you leave.
PLEASE RSVP - caterers require confirmed numbers; www.tbbwn.com. If you reserve a seat and don't attend or cancel your registration 48 hours prior to the meeting, we must still collect the fee from you, as we must pay for all meals ordered - if you have not replied and are able to attend, you are welcome.
Networking opportunities abound - Make the best possible use of your time and introduce yourself to others. Remember to please limit your conversations to times when speaker presentations are not taking place!
Email addresses are very important - they are our best means of contacting you - if you change your address, please let us know. Please be assured that the Network does not share your email address or contact information with other organizations.
